As an avocado lover, I’m willing to try just about anything that this fine fruit (yes, an avocado is a fruit) is featured in. Combine the avocado with one of my favorite sandwiches, the BLT, and a irresistible sandwich is born. Above is What’s Cooking’s BLT&A. The BLT&A boasts a generous amount of applewood bacon, mashed avocado, shredded lettuce, tomato, and herb aioli on a toasted ciabatta roll. The combination of the avocado, applewood bacon, and herb aioli delivers a knockout punch that will have your taste buds down for the count. What’s Cooking doesn’t get nearly enough love on the sandwich scene as it should, but it’s certainly not because their food is lacking.
